Aktogay-Agro is one of the modern large enterprises in the Pavlodar region. Agribusiness is one of the five areas of the company, which has a history of almost 20 years. For many years, crops and vegetables have been grown here. Diversity of vectors is one of the strengths of the Aktogay economy. A couple of years ago, the business owner took up the production of milk, the demand for which in the domestic market remains consistently high. In 2021, having received a loan from the Agrarian Credit Corporation, the farmer built a commercial dairy farm equipped with modern equipment. “The first loan received from the Agrarian Credit Corporation was successful for us. Today, the farm has 1,200 cows, a thousand of which are dairy cows. Simmental heifers were brought from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The farm has not been launched yet. After installing the equipment in the rotating milking parlor, we will start milking cows using the "carousel" method. Milk will be sold to large dairies in the region,” says Arman Zhukin, financial director of the enterprise. So far, this is the first and only dairy farm in the Aktogay region. The Simmental breed was not chosen in vain. Unlike other breeds, these animals are more resistant to diseases, weather changes, more productive: each cow gives 22 liters of milk per day.
