For the first time, a credit partnership received an “AAA” rating

On March 4 of this year, the Authorized Body of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC, for the first time in the history of the country, assigned an “AAA” rating to the Tselinogradskoe Credit Partnership.

The highest rating “AAA” is assigned in the absence of external and internal overdue obligations, the annual increase in equity capital of at least 7% and the loan portfolio of at least 5% over the last 3 years.

The "AAA" rating gives the right to independently finance end borrowers and post-credit services, limited only by the size of the credit line, as well as a reduction in the interest rate by 1 percent, an increase in the liquidity ratio by 0.1 for collateral in the form of real estate.

The certificate was presented by the Chairman of the Board of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC during a meeting of participants of the Tselinogradskoye CT. Narmukhan Sarybaev noted that the Credit Partnership as a financial institution has repeatedly proven its efficiency in implementing government programs for business development in rural areas.

Akim of the Tselinograd district Malgazhdar Tatkeev also took part in the event. He thanked the management and team of CT for their contribution to the development of the region.

The Tselinogradskoe credit partnership has existed since 2004 and today there are 59 participants in CT. The lending limit is more than 6.5 billion tenge.

To date, 202 credit partnerships have been created in Kazakhstan, of which 5 credit partnerships have an “AA” rating, 16 credit partnerships have an “A” rating, and 19 credit partnerships have a “B” rating. The number of participants in agricultural credit partnerships has exceeded 20 thousand.

The amount and number of loans issued through the CT system from 2001 to 2018 amounted to 329 billion tenge and 48 thousand, respectively. Over the years, not only more and more farmers are using CT services, but also the loan amounts are growing. If in 2001 the average loan amount was 5 million tenge, then in 2018 it was 12.8 million.
