Agrarian Credit Corporation Announces Start of 2025 Insurance Applications for Crop and Livestock Industries The Agrarian Credit Corporation informs that applications for 2025 agricultural insurance are now open for crop and livestock farming. Insurance applications must be submitted through the QALQAN online insurance service, available on the Kezekte.kz platform. In the online insurance system’s personal account, farmers need to: Specify the insured subject—either digitized fields or registered animals in the Agricultural Animal Identification System. Choose an insurance company. Sign an insurance contract. Pay 20% of the insurance premium. The remaining 80% of the insurance premium will be covered by the Operator in the form of subsidies based on the insurer’s application. Insurance for Soil Moisture Deficiency and Excess during the 2025 sowing and harvesting season is available in the following regions: Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, Abai, and Ulytau regions. Application Deadlines: Drought Insurance for Grain Crops: Apply by April 15. Drought Insurance for Oilseeds: Apply by April 30. Excess Moisture Insurance (Rainfall) during Harvest: Apply by June 30. Livestock and Poultry Insurance is available year-round in all regions of Kazakhstan. In 2025, around 2 billion tenge has been allocated for agricultural insurance.
