Credit partnerships are real help to farmers

One of the first Credit Partnerships (hereinafter referred to as CT), which issued the first loan under the Sybaga program, is CT Karzhyger. In 2014, Daulet Zhunusov joined the Karzhyger CT and was repeatedly funded under programs to support the agro-industrial complex.

"KH Zhunusov D.E." founded in February 2002 in the village of Yuzhny, Abay district. Daulet was engaged in dairy farming, but recently he was thinking about switching to beef cows. Since 2015, the farm has steadily employed 8 workers.

“When I heard at the credit partnership about the start of the new Sybaga program, we collected all the necessary documents and submitted them to the CT for consideration. Within 14 days after submitting documents for a loan for the purchase of 77 heads of imported cattle, the application was approved. At the same time, documents were submitted to the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan for approval of the import route for the purchased livestock. The credit partnership helped a lot, both with collecting documents and providing the necessary information,” says Daulet Zhunusov. By the way, CT “Karzhyger” is one of the leading ones in the region.

Under the Sybaga program, a lot of work is being done to develop and attract borrowers using joint efforts with the participation of the Akimat of the region, districts, the Department of Agriculture of the region, veterinary medicine of the region, and Credit Partnerships.

The program is implemented through 12 credit partnerships operating in the Karaganda region. This gives a huge advantage to borrowers, since when applying for loans there is no need to leave the locality; there is a credit partnership in every district of the Karaganda region. This avoids transportation costs and, most importantly, saves time. With the participation of credit partnerships in the Karaganda region, it is planned to finance farms with the aim of supplying 5 thousand heads of beef cattle from neighboring countries.
