Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov held a meeting with the participation of the top managers of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC and KazAgroFinance JSC, where they discussed support measures provided to farmers affected by drought and excess moisture. In 2023, agricultural producers in grain-growing regions suffered due to unfavorable weather conditions, which primarily affected their ability to fulfill loan obligations. Financial institutions JSC "AKK" and JSC "KAF" occupy a significant share in the financing of the agro-industrial complex. In the credit portfolio of the agricultural sector, the share of ACC and KAF exceeds 77%, and about 28% of agricultural entities are covered by financing. Aidarbek Saparov instructed the ACC and KAF to focus on the issue of financing small businesses, which are in dire need of support and special attention when providing preferential loans for sowing work, as well as to strengthen work on automation when receiving financing, and to reduce the time for reviewing applications from entrepreneurs.
