On April 5, an on-site briefing of the Central Communications Service was held in the Ordabasy district of the South Kazakhstan region. The sowing campaign at Ramazan Agro LLP is in full swing. “By the end of January, we launched financing, having previously processed loan applications from borrowers received in December. Approval of applications by the Corporation in such a short time and prompt financing allows farmers to purchase seeds, herbicides, spare parts and other goods and services necessary for sowing at the optimal purchase price,” Narmukhan Sarybaev said in his speech. Preliminary financing was supposed to be carried out using three financial instruments: - KT - 10.0 billion tenge, in 2017. the same figure was 8.6 billion tenge, - STB – 22.0 billion tenge, in 2017 – 21.3 billion tenge; - Direct lending – 28.0 billion tenge, in 2017 – 30 billion tenge. As of April 4, 2018, the Corporation received 1,776 applications from agricultural enterprises for consideration for a total amount of 59 billion tenge for sowing 2.6 million hectares, 441 applications from agricultural enterprises were financed for a total amount of 28 billion tenge for processing 1.4 million ha. Also, 129 applications from agricultural producers were approved in the amount of 12 billion tenge. There are 161 applications of agricultural enterprises under consideration for a total amount of 6.2 billion tenge. It is worth noting that there is a significant growth trend - last year, as of the same period, 1,460 applications were received from agricultural producers. A significant increase in applications is also observed in the financing system through CT - the number of applications has more than doubled (for the same period last year, the figure for applications from agricultural producers through CT was 294). In the context of financial instruments, taking into account applications at the collection stage, the total pool of applications is as follows: - 647 final borrowers of CT in the amount of 10.7 billion tenge; - 879 final borrowers of microfinance organizations in the amount of 1.5 billion tenge; - direct borrowers – 213 in the amount of 34.4 billion tenge. - STB – 34 in the amount of 12.6 billion tenge. As for the priority of crops and the structure of sown areas, the lion's share, judging by the applications of agricultural producers this year, is occupied by wheat, barley, flax, rapeseed, and sunflower.
