In two years, the livestock increased from 573 to 862 sheep. A native of the Turkestan region, Erbol Elgonov is one of the successful entrepreneurs today. Its formation was facilitated by the program of the Agricultural Credit Corporation "Agribusiness". In 2010, the villager registered the Tastemir farm, and in 2020 he received a preferential loan to increase the number of livestock. The loan was useful in the purchase of 573 local sheep and 32 head of Gissar breeding rams. Small cattle are kept in the village of Saraphana, Kazygurt district. “I used to work as a teacher in the city, after the death of my father I returned to the village to be close to my mother. I applied to the branch of the Agrarian Credit Corporation for a loan to increase the number of livestock left by my father. The loan is very profitable, getting such a number of livestock at once is not so easy “It’s simple. Together with the sheep, we keep cows and horses, and we have prepared feed for the livestock for the winter,” says Erol Elgonov. Now the farm has turned into a real family business. The eldest son is studying to become an agronomist, the second son is studying to become a veterinarian and helps his father in the village. There are also hired workers. Slowly, the outbred flock is turning into a productive Gissar flock. In the future, after repaying the loan, the farmer plans to breed Australian Dorper meat sheep. JSC "Agrarian Credit Corporation" is a subsidiary of the National Management Holding "Baiterek". Since 2001, it has been providing preferential loans on favorable terms for the development of agribusiness.
