Ecologically clean meat for Aktautians

Muratbek Kaspakbaev, a resident of the city of Aktau, has been supplying meat to the local market for almost ten years now. Having gained a permanent client base and certain experience, the head of the IE "Dan and Mad" proceeded to the next stage of the business - the expansion of the feedlot. Having issued a loan from the Agrarian Credit Corporation, the entrepreneur purchased 40 horses and 50 bulls for fattening. At the same time, he bought animals at his own expense.

“We put on fattening both in winter and in summer. For horses it takes 4 months, for bulls - 5.5 months. As a result, we get a meat yield of 53%. The site capacity is 320 cattle and 218 horses. On average, each animal gains 700-800 grams of weight per day. Basically, we try to acquire meat thoroughbred animals - Hereford bulls, Kazakh white-headed. The record weight we got is 517 kg of pure meat,” says farm manager Muratbek Kaspakbaev.

Up to 200 animals pass through the feedlot of the Aktau businessman per year. This year, a slaughterhouse was built on its own. Ecologically clean local products enter the city market. It is possible that in the future, with the support of the Agrarian Credit Corporation, IE "Dan and Mad" will implement its plans for the supply of meat for export.
