The insurance coverage period is valid from August 15 to October 14, 2026 and covers risks associated with excess soil moisture during the harvest period. All procedures—from submitting an application and signing a contract to receiving an insurance payment—are completed electronically through the Qalqan agricultural insurance information system, hosted on the Kezekte.kz platform. A digital signature is required to participate. The cost of an insurance policy for farmers has been reduced by 80% thanks to government subsidies. Thus, farmers pay only 20% of the full insurance cost. JSC Agrarian Credit Corporation reminds that the application deadline is June 30 and recommends that agricultural producers obtain insurance coverage for the harvest season in advance.
