Currently, the partners of the Agrarian Credit Corporation are 15 microfinance organizations created with the participation of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” and local executive bodies. In turn, these financial organizations will begin to provide preferential loans to small businesses at a rate of 6 percent per annum. In his address to the people of Kazakhstan, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also pays special attention to the issue of considering state support mechanisms in turning agriculture into the main driving force of the national economy. The maximum microloan amount for residents of rural settlements (regardless of their administrative subordination) and small towns is up to 2.5 thousand monthly calculation indices (7.2 million tenge); in cities, single-industry towns (except for Shymkent, Aktau, Atyrau) - equal to 6.5 thousand monthly calculation indices (18.9 million tenge). And in the cities of Shymkent, Aktau and Atyrau this figure is 23.3 million tenge. Now entrepreneurs have the opportunity to receive budget loans from microfinance organizations. Agricultural Credit Corporation JSC received applications from microfinance organizations totaling 4 billion 700 million tenge. To date, microloans totaling 2.6 billion tenge have been issued based on applications. By implementing this program, Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC is interested in providing affordable financing to small entrepreneurs.
