The annual meeting of the Corporation with credit partnerships was held in Nur-Sultan

On February 3, in Nur-Sultan, a meeting of the heads of Agrarian Credit Corporation and KazAgro Holding with the founders of the Association of Legal Entities “Association of Agricultural Credit Partnerships” was held. During the event, issues of interaction between the Corporation and credit partnerships were discussed, prospects for further development of the CT system were outlined.

In his welcoming speech, Chairman of the Board of ACC Murat Daribayev summed up the results of the Corporation's work with credit partnerships for 2019: “The authorized capital of the KT system amounted to 15.7 billion tenge. Equity capital 17.1 billion tenge. Loan portfolio - 172 billion tenge. As of January 1, 2020, the number of active loans was 22,661. These are the main consolidated indicators of the CT system. "

During the meeting, work plans for 2020 were also announced. The key issue was the consideration of the further development strategy of credit partnerships in the agro-industrial complex, in particular the optimization of lending procedures. Since 2019, KazAgro Holding, within the framework of transformation, has been doing a lot to optimize credit business processes. Automation solves big problems to reduce the time for consideration of applications, the influence of the human factor and is aimed at preventing corruption.

Managing Director of the KazAgro Holding Kairat Altynbekov noted that the decision to issue a loan will take not 30 days, as it is now, with a lot of papers, but in 30 minutes using EDS and the Internet.

“In addition, the issue of reducing paperwork is being addressed. For example, within the framework of the "Isker" program, a client collects about 11 paper documents, then with the introduction of the system, he will only need to have an electronic digital signature and a computer with Internet access, "Kairat Altynbekov informed.

Since the establishment of the institution of credit partnerships in Kazakhstan, KTs are in a continuous process of development. It should be noted that Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC stands at the origins of the creation of the KT system in the agro-industrial complex, which at the initial stage provided direct support in the formation, development of the system and today, is the main source of financing for KT, with a direct impact on increasing the availability of receiving financing by farmers and entrepreneurs in the countryside.

Since 2001, with the participation of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC, 205 credit partnerships have been created in 157 rural areas, with a territorial coverage of 98%, in all regions of Kazakhstan. The number of participants in the CT system is already more than 22 thousand. From 2001 to the present day, more than 52.6 thousand loans have been issued through the system of credit partnerships for a total of 426.0 billion tenge.

It should be noted that not every financial institution can offer such preferential terms of financing and such a principle of operation as in KT. High repayment of credit funds, testifies to the responsibility of farmers and entrepreneurs who are participants in the CT. The level of overdue loan debt to Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC over 90 days (NPL) is 2%.

There are already 2 AAA-rated credit partnerships in Kazakhstan, which gives them the right to independently finance end borrowers and post-loan services, limited only by the size of the credit line. Among them are KT "Tselinogradskoye" in Nur-Sultan and KT "Yassy" in the Turkestan region.

Credit partnerships as a financial institution have repeatedly proved their efficiency in the implementation of government programs for business development in rural areas. The entry of a farmer or entrepreneur into this financial organization allows you to gain access to preferential credit resources covering almost all areas of activity in the agricultural sector, as well as non-agricultural business in the countryside.

For example, a member of a credit partnership can obtain a loan for carrying out spring field and harvesting work, purchasing agricultural machinery and equipment, purchasing livestock, erecting greenhouses, orchards, carrying out construction and installation work, producing and processing agricultural products, implementing various investment projects, start-up projects and other goals. There are many directions, it all depends on the business initiative of a farmer, an entrepreneur in the countryside.
