The collection of applications for support of spring field work in 2018 has been completed

JSC Agrarian Credit Corporation (ACC) has completed the collection of applications to support spring field work in 2018 from the republican budget loan in the amount of 60 billion in connection with the disbursement of funds and their distribution among agricultural producers (Agricultural Producers). It is worth noting that the volume of applications for sowing work this year significantly exceeded that of last year, which is the result of the timely and prompt receipt of budget loan funds and the early start of accepting applications from December last year.

In total, more than 1,900 applications from farmers were satisfied across the republic directly through ACC (local branches), credit partnerships (CPs), microfinance organizations and second-tier banks for a total amount of 60 billion tenge, the volume of sown areas according to farmers’ applications amounted to 3.2 million hectares

Guided by the strategic goal of reducing direct financing to farmers, ACC pays great attention to funding through financial institutions. The company's efforts in this direction were reflected in the active submission of applications from agricultural enterprises through KT - this year, about 860 applications were submitted through KT for a total amount of 12.8 billion tenge, the volume of sown areas amounted to 1.1 hectares. Compared to last year, the figure more than doubled (in 2017, 356 applications were submitted through CT).

As noted by the Chairman of the Board of ACC N. Sarybaev, “taking into account this positive dynamics of lending through CT over the past two years, the lending rate in which is 6% per annum (GESV - from 6%), allows us to diversify the composition of participants and increase the number of small and medium-sized peasant and farms among borrowers for spring field work.”

As part of the implementation of the policy of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan to diversify sown areas, for the past two years there has been an increase in the volume of financing for sowing vegetables, fodder and oilseeds. So, if last year, out of more than 3 million hectares of cultivated area, applications from agricultural entities were submitted for these crops for 900 thousand hectares, then this year this figure has already increased to 1 million hectares. The volume of financing for sowing the above-mentioned crops this year amounted to about 21 billion tenge, last year this figure was about 19 billion tenge.
