At a Government meeting chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, issues related to preparations for spring fieldwork were discussed. Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov, along with akims of several regions, reported on the current situation.

"In 2025, agricultural crops are planned to be sown on an area of 23.8 million hectares, which is 518,000 hectares more than in 2024. This year, the financing volume for fieldwork has been increased to 700 billion tenge, while funds for leasing services have grown to 200 billion tenge," the minister noted.

Following the Government meeting, a press conference was held with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Agrarian Credit Corporation" Almat Ashirbekov, where journalists had the opportunity to ask their questions.

It is worth noting that the Agrarian Credit Corporation has started early financing for spring field and harvesting operations under the "Kең дала 2" program. Currently, a total pool of applications has been formed from more than 1,500 agricultural producers for approximately 222 billion tenge, of which applications from 1,405 farmers totaling over 211 billion tenge have already been accepted. A total of 1,065 clients have been financed for more than 142 billion tenge.
