The Akdala-Agro company, located in the village of Zhaltyrkol near the capital, produces poultry meat. The enterprise opened at the beginning of this year and is not yet well known to the capital's residents. There are 3 poultry houses here, which plan to supply 6 thousand tons of meat to the market this year. In October, production volumes are planned to increase, because 6 more poultry houses under construction will be put into operation. Financing from the Agrarian Credit Corporation helped establish such a large-scale business. “In 2020, we received a preferential loan from the corporation and purchased advanced European equipment. Now our products are sold in Akmola, Karaganda, Pavlodar and Turkestan regions. We produce frozen chicken meat. We have our own feed mill, we grow our own feed on lands near the city of Arys, Turkestan region,” says managing director of Akdala-Agro LLP Ayat Karsybaev. In 2023, the company plans to increase the number of poultry houses to 24. In accordance with the requirements, farms will be built in the neighboring village of Babatai, and a slaughterhouse and a warehouse for storing products will be located in the village of Zhibek Zholy. In 2024, it is planned to reach full capacity - 100,000 tons of high-quality chicken meat per year. These products are in demand on the market, since Kazakhstan is only 58 percent self-sufficient in chicken meat. Consequently, the project is viable, and the product will not remain in warehouses.
