Deadline for applications for crop insurance against excess soil moisture extended to 15 July 2026
JSC Agrarian Credit Corporation announces the extension of the deadline for accepting applications for insurance of grain and oilseed crops against the risk of excess soil moisture during the harvesting campaign.
In order to expand opportunities for agricultural producers and to provide additional time to arrange insurance cover, the application deadline has been extended to 15 July 2026.
Applications for an insurance contract can be submitted via the Kezekte.kz platform.
Insurance cover is available to farmers in Abai region, Ulytau region, and Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar and North Kazakhstan regions.
The insurance cover period runs from 15 August to 14 October 2026 and covers risks associated with excess soil moisture during the harvest.
All procedures — from submitting an application and concluding a contract to receiving an insurance payout — are carried out entirely electronically through the QALQAN agricultural insurance information system hosted on the Kezekte.kz platform. An electronic digital signature (EDS) is required to conclude a contract.
The cost of an insurance policy for farmers has been reduced by 80% thanks to state support. The state subsidises most of the insurance premium, so the agricultural producer pays only 20% of the full cost of insurance.
JSC Agrarian Credit Corporation encourages agricultural producers to take the opportunity to protect their future harvest from adverse weather conditions and to take out an insurance policy before the application period closes on 15 July 2026.
