An additional opportunity for farmers: crop insurance applications extended until 31 July

To broaden opportunities for agricultural producers and give them additional time to arrange insurance protection, the deadline for accepting applications has been extended until 31 July 2026.

Applications for an insurance contract can be submitted via the Kezekte.kz platform.

Insurance protection is available to farmers in Abai region, Ulytau region, and Akmola, Aktobe, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar and North Kazakhstan regions.

The insurance coverage period runs from 15 August to 14 October 2026 and covers risks associated with excess soil moisture during the harvest period.

All procedures — from submitting an application and concluding a contract to receiving an insurance payout — are carried out entirely electronically through the QALQAN agricultural insurance information system hosted on the Kezekte.kz platform. An electronic digital signature (EDS) is required to conclude a contract.

Thanks to state support, the cost of an insurance policy for farmers has been reduced by 80%. The state subsidises most of the insurance premium, so the agricultural producer pays only 20% of the full cost of insurance.

JSC Agrarian Credit Corporation encourages agricultural producers to take the opportunity to protect their future harvest against adverse weather conditions and to take out an insurance policy before applications close on 31 July 2026.
