A forum on measures to support small and medium-sized businesses was held in Astana. The event, organized by the Republican Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken", was attended by entrepreneurs, representatives of government bodies, financial, banking and public organizations. Deputy Chairman of the Board of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC Murat Iskakov spoke in his speech about measures to support agricultural producers and rural entrepreneurship. He noted that the company is engaged in lending to investment projects, lending for spring field work, funding financial institutions, and also provides agency services in the field of agricultural insurance. The corporation's share in the total financing of the agro-industrial complex is more than 76%. Moreover, every third agricultural producer is its client. Today the company offers loan products “Ken Dala” - for financing agricultural entities for spring field and harvesting work; “Agribusiness” is a universal program for financing agricultural business and processing of agricultural products; “Isker” is a microcredit program for rural entrepreneurs. The speaker noted that since last year, the corporation has introduced a platform for preliminary approval of applications for microloans under the Isker program, which allows farmers and entrepreneurs to submit an application online without visiting a branch. Within a few minutes, the data is analyzed, and the potential client receives a preliminary decision on the possibility of lending. The corporation’s plans for the coming year include financing of agricultural entities totaling 330 billion tenge, further automation of the lending process, and improvement of business processes.
