Almat Ashirbekov takes part in the investment forum “ZHEIF-2023”

On April 26-27, the Zhambyl Investment and Economic Forum - 2023 investment forum is being held in the Zhambyl region, in which the Chairman of the Board of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC Almat Ashirbekov, Chairman of the Board of KazAgroFinance JSC Aidar Prashev, Managing Director of Baiterek National Holding will take part. The goal of the international investment forum is to create an investment and business creative environment, further establish investment ties, strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in various sectors of the economy, such as tourism, industry, digitalization and agriculture.

As part of the forum, participants got acquainted with investment projects in the field of agriculture, including the GreenwiII LLP project - greenhouses for hydroponics and aquaponics, which received support from the ACC in the amount of 2.3 billion tenge.

It should be noted that Agricultural Credit Corporation JSC is one of the main financial institutions in the agricultural sector with assets of more than 1.0 trillion tenge and has a subsidiary organization, KazAgroFinance JSC. Over 14 years, in the Zhambyl region, ACC, taking into account KazAgroFinance JSC, financed 63 investment projects worth more than 22.2 billion tenge, of which 38% were for intensive gardening, 14% for reproducers, 11% for processing, 10% – for vegetable storage facilities, 10% – for poultry farms, 17% – for other areas.

It should be noted that the overall financing plan for ACC, taking into account KAF JSC, in 2023 is 500 billion tenge, including 21.0 billion tenge for the Zhambyl region.

At the moment, ACC plans to finance 2 large investment projects worth more than 6 billion tenge this year in the Zhambyl region, including a sugar factory in Taraz in the amount of 5.0 billion tenge and a poultry farm in the amount of 1.0 billion tenge.
