Italians shared their experience in gardening

An industry seminar on horticulture was held in Almaty.

The Italian company Advice&Consulting Srl, one of the leaders in the design of turnkey gardens, construction of storage and sorting warehouses, held a seminar on April 7 on the introduction of innovations in the development of intensive gardens. Among the speakers were agronomist experts from leading Italian companies Advice&Consulting SRL, Salvi Vivai, Fruit Control Equipments, Unitec. The seminar was titled “Apple Day – how to transform apples into profits and smiles.” An important goal of the seminar was to increase the efficiency of entrepreneurs in the horticulture industry, bringing the product to a competitive level in the CIS countries and Europe by creating a high-tech process in order to increase production efficiency.

Narmukhan Sarybaev, Chairman of the Board of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC, spoke about the financing of intensive gardening in Kazakhstan. In 2017, the Corporation financed 3 projects for growing orchards in Almaty and Zhambyl regions with a total area of 170 hectares and a production capacity of 8.6 thousand tons.

The seminar was attended by large agricultural entrepreneurs from Almaty, Zhambyl and South Kazakhstan regions, among them several borrowers of the Corporation.
