Chicken and eggs for the local market

Shymkent Kus is a modern plant with a full technological cycle from production to processing. In the Tolebi district, in the village of Kielitas, chicken is produced, and in Shymkent, eggs. For several thousand chickens, 30 poultry houses have been opened, 10 of them are currently operating.

“Our birds need 1,000 tons of feed per month. In December 2021, we received a loan from the Agrarian Credit Corporation under the Agribusiness program for the purchase of wheat. To date, we have repaid the loan in full, and if necessary, we plan to use state support again in the future,” says Khurmat Khaitmetov, an economist and accountant for the company.

It is known that bird feeds include enriched elements - vitamins and minerals. For this, there is a feed mill on the production site. In general, the nutritional value, taste and marketability of the product largely depend on the feed, so experts strictly monitor this. The products of the plant, which is constantly updating its technological line, are in high demand on the market.
