Astana hosted a large-scale Eurasian Kurultay of Social Entrepreneurs on the theme “Social Innovations for a Sustainable Future”. It was attended by business representatives, bloggers and activists interested in the development of the social economy, as well as international speakers from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, India and other countries. Aydyn Doskaraev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC, attended the event. The purpose of the Kurultay is to bring together leaders and experts to share experience, establish strategic partnerships, and present successful cases in the field of ESG and social entrepreneurship. At the kurultai, the priority was to consider the possibility of joint work on social projects. “This is a very important event related to the popularization of social entrepreneurship. This type of entrepreneurship helps not only to solve social issues, but also through the commercial component to ensure the sustainability of the results obtained. The event today is dedicated to the fact that large and medium-sized businesses should support such endeavors if possible,” Aydyn Doskaraev emphasized.
