ACC Agricultural Expedition Diaries LLP "Eurasia Invest LTD" Our film crew arrived at the plant in the evening, just when milking was in full swing. Have you ever seen horses standing in line? The plant has an automatic milking machine made in Germany, designed to serve eight mares at the same time. Each mare patiently waits for her turn and approaches the milking machine herself. According to the plant's technologists, it takes about two weeks to accustom a horse to machine milking. In the usual version, the mare gives milk in two phases, but she may not give it away - she can keep it in herself. But the milking machine allows you to choose it without any residue. The device carries out milking carefully and efficiently, which has a beneficial effect on the well-being of animals. The foals are waiting behind them. This is the most touching scene in the whole process: milked mothers come to the paddock where the foals are grazing. The world's largest plant for the production of dry powder from mare's milk grew up in the barren steppe between Astana and Karaganda in just a year and a half. Specialists from Germany helped the Kazakhstanis create this production with the financial support of Agricultural Credit Corporation JSC. The initiator of the emergence of an enterprise in Kazakhstan for the production of dry powder from mare’s milk was Galymzhan Meirambekov, who is now the general director of the plant. He studied in Europe, where he heard about Hans Zollmann's farm. The Kazakhstani first became acquainted with the products of the German horse farm, and then with its owner. The result of the conversation was the idea of opening a similar production facility in Kazakhstan. The implementation of the project began in May 2014 on the territory of the Far Rural District of the Osakarovsky District of the Karaganda Region. In a short time, a horse farm and production facilities of Eurasia Invest LTD LLP with a milk sublimation line grew here. In August 2015, the first batch of mare's milk powder was received. Today the plant's design capacity is 10 tons per year. Diaries of the ACC Agricultural Expedition. The company already sells its products in Astana and Almaty. “Mare's milk is very nutritious for children, it can be used as a substitute for mother's milk, especially for children who are allergic to cow's milk. In addition, it is useful for diseases of the liver, hepatitis, and gastrointestinal tract, that is, for ulcers and gastritis,” explained managing director Bayan Elshin. The most important part of the project, the installation and commissioning of equipment, was led by Hans Zollman, who lived at the construction site for two months this summer. This German runs a farm in Germany for 400 mares, specializing in the production of powdered mare's milk. Hans Zollman not only oversaw the installation of the equipment, but also conducted staff training. The product yield is 1 in 10, that is, from 10 liters of milk you get 1 kilogram of powder. The powder is packaged on a special line in vacuum bags made of aluminum foil, so it can be stored for a very long time. It can be consumed either dry or diluted with water in a ratio of 1 to 9. Research shows that this medicinal and prophylactic agent is indispensable for tuberculosis, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, and liver diseases, including hepatitis. Taking it also improves a person’s tone. The effect is felt within a week of treatment. The powder can also be used as baby food for infants. Also in Germany it is used in the cosmetology and pharmaceutical industries. The current population is 1,500 horses. The ultimate goal is to bring it to 5 thousand heads. When it reaches its design capacity of 10 tons per year, the plant will become the largest in the world.
