AgroService-Zhanakorgan LLP, operating in the Kyzylorda region, is ready for spring field work. In December last year, the head of the farm received a preferential loan in the amount of 40 million tenge through the Agrarian Credit Corporation. Using borrowed funds provided under the Ken Dala program, we purchased fuels and lubricants, prepared seeds and herbicides.

“We joined the Kamkorshy credit partnership ten years ago. Here, in CT, we received funding from the Agricultural Credit Corporation. This is convenient because, firstly, you can apply for a loan in Zhanakorgan without traveling to Kyzylorda. Secondly, the interest rate is very low - we, for example, received a loan at 5% per annum,” says Meirzhan Kutybaev, head of AgroService - Zhanakorgan LLP.

The AgroService-Zhanakorgan farm is engaged in the cultivation of rice, wheat and alfalfa. This year they plan to sow white gold on 275 hectares. In addition, winter crops were sown last year and are awaiting harvest. The company also has its own rice production plant.

As you know, this year, under the Ken Dala program, domestic farmers will receive 140 billion tenge in the form of preferential loans for spring field work. The Agrarian Credit Corporation issues loans for these purposes through credit partnerships, second-tier banks and microfinance organizations with an interest rate for final borrowers of up to 5% per annum. Under the terms of the program, financed farms must repay the loan by March 1, 2024.
