More than 60 residents of Mangistau took out a loan at 6 percent and started a business

Over the past three months, more than 60 residents of the Mangistau region received a loan at 6 percent through the Agricultural Credit Corporation and opened their own business. Loans can be obtained from microfinance organizations located in the regions. This year, the subsidiary of UBH JSC Baiterek allocated 1 billion tenge for microcredit to entrepreneurs in the Mangistau region. Of these, 283 million were paid.

15 days have passed since Garifulla Akmuratov, a resident of the Munaylinsky district, opened a car service center. 5 people work under his leadership. He took out a loan in the amount of 7.2 million tenge to purchase the necessary equipment for the center.

Garifulla Akmuratov, resident of the village of Bayandi:

They studied for 3 months, received advice from there and prepared their business plan.

And Kuanysh Danshabaev bought 6 cows for a loan of 4 million tenge. The debt will be repaid only 6 months after calving.

Kuanysh Danshabaev, resident of the village of Sain Shapagatov:

For example, if you take out a loan from another bank, the interest rate will first of all be higher. Secondly, there is no such thing as paying in installments over 6 months. If you receive it, you will pay next month.

Low interest loans are available for all types of businesses. It is necessary to have a certificate of training in the basics of entrepreneurship and collateral. Up to two years of exemption are possible.

Aset Baibosynov, director of the Mangistau regional branch of the Agrarian Credit Corporation:

The goal of this program is self-employment. This is very useful for the unemployed. Taking out a loan at a low interest rate, he covers himself with work, using his vacation.

In the region, more than 60 entrepreneurs who received assistance from the Agrarian Credit Corporation employed more than 100 people. It is planned to finance another 200 projects.
