The Agrarian Credit Corporation wrote off fines for indebted farmers

In August of this year, the Agricultural Credit Corporation announced the launch of the “Profitable repayment” campaign. As part of this, the accrued interest on borrowers accrued as of September 1 was written off, subject to full repayment of the overdue debt by December 1 of this year.

Over the course of 3 months, 57 borrowers of the Corporation repaid overdue debts totaling 226,138,284.04 tenge, for which a penalty in the amount of 18,974,571.47 tenge was written off.

The promotion was launched for the first time. Its goal is to support agricultural producers, help rural businesses experiencing short-term difficulties, and also reduce the level of problem loans.
