Support for small business in Kostanay region

More than 1.3 billion tenge was directed to the development of small business under the Enbek Program in the Kostanay region in 2021. Loans through the Agrarian Credit Corporation were issued for the opening and development of their own business in the countryside.

Kogershin Tulegenova is one of those who received a soft loan to open a cafe-restaurant in the Uzunkol district. A loan to a mother with many children was issued at 4% per annum, the funds were used to purchase equipment and replenish working capital.

- Previously, they were engaged in agriculture, kept livestock, - says the head of the IE "Tomiris" K. Tulegenova. – In our district center there are not enough places for family events – festive banquets, memorial dinners and others. Therefore, we decided to open a new line of business. We bought the premises with our own money, and received funds for repairs and kitchen equipment from the Agrarian Credit Corporation on favorable terms.

Having completed training under the “Business Bastau” program and having prepared a business plan, the entrepreneur turned to the Kostanay branch of the corporation. After the formation of a complete package of documents, the loan was approved, and in December last year, the new cafe "Tomiris" opened its doors to Uzunkol residents.

In general, over the past three years, within the framework of the State Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship for 2017-2021 "Enbek", Kostanay entrepreneurs received 1,997 loans for 7.8 billion tenge.
