522 agricultural producers of Almaty and the Almaty region received preferential loans for business development through the Agrarian Credit Corporation this year. The amount of financing amounted to 11 billion tenge. Deputy Chairman of the Board of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC Marlen Nabiev spoke about this during the regional forum “Tugan Zherge Tagzym”, held in Almaty. The forum served as a platform for business contacts between business representatives and promising investors in the region. During the forum, projects implemented in the field of commodity production, tourism, pharmaceuticals, energy, development, agribusiness and information technology were presented. The event was attended by Akim of the Almaty region M. Sultangaziev, Vice Minister of National Economy I. Userov, Vice Minister of Culture and Sports E. Erkinbaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Baiterek Holding N. Aidapkelov, and more than 200 representatives of the business community. Presenting the main directions of activity and plans for the next year to the forum participants, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Agrarian Credit Corporation M. Nabiev noted that in the region, with the support of the company, 87 investment projects worth 124.5 billion tenge were implemented. At the same time, financing from the corporation amounted to 91.7 billion tenge. These are projects for processing agricultural products, dairy farms, greenhouses, intensive gardens and other areas of agribusiness. “Our main task is to provide affordable credit resources to agricultural producers. Accordingly, all our work is aimed at improving the quality of customer service,” the speaker noted in his speech. It is expected that by the end of the year the volume of financing of Kazakh agricultural producers from the corporation will amount to 350 billion tenge.
