The deadline for accepting applications for insurance under the product “Index insurance of soil moisture deficit for winter crops (3 phases)” has been extended until September 13, 2024 inclusive. Currently, farmers in grain-growing regions have the opportunity to insure their winter crops against drought for the 2024-2025 season. The product “Soil Moisture Deficit Index Insurance for winter crops (3 phases)” assumes insurance coverage from September 15, 2024 to June 30, 2025, with an insurance rate of 4.8% of the sum insured. Applications are accepted on the website Kezekte.kz. The cost of the insurance policy is reduced by 80% due to state subsidies, the operator of which is the Agrarian Credit Corporation. We remind that farmers of the following regions can insure their crops: Akmola, Aktobe, VKO, WKO, WKO, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar, SKO, Abai and Ұlytau regions.
