Farmer Ruslan Meiramov, after working for seven years in the capital, returned to his native village to take up farming. The Nur-Daur Group LLP, headed by him, operates in the Sandyktau district of the Akmola region. Having received a loan from the Agrarian Credit Corporation, the entrepreneur began to expand the business inherited from his father. In the North Kazakhstan region, 120 head of Aberdeen Angus cows were purchased using loan funds. “I have been thinking about starting my own business for a long time. Last year, my friend and I purchased cattle and the necessary feed. The effectiveness of the loan is encouraging - a long term, low interest rates, payment holidays in the first two years. During this time, you can increase the livestock and confidently stand on legs,” says Ruslan Meiramov, head of Nur-Daur Group LLP. In the future, the farmer plans to increase the number of beef cattle to 300. However, there is a problem with pastures. If the local akimat provides additional land, the owner of the farm dreams of filling the Sandyktau steppes with breeding beef cattle.
