On March 4, a press conference was held as part of a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during which the issue of financing the real sector of the economy was considered. Representatives of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Management of the Baiterek Holding and its subsidiaries spoke at the conference. Chairman of the Board of JSC Agrarian Credit Corporation Almat Ashirbekov spoke about measures to support the agro-industrial complex. In his speech, the head of the ACC noted that in 2025, financing in the amount of more than 1 trillion tenge will be directed through the Agrarian Credit Corporation and KazAgroFinance. It will be focused on the development of domestic production, sustainable provision of the Kazakhstan market with domestic products, as well as the creation of industries with increased added value. Particular attention was paid by the media to the issues of financing spring field and harvesting work under the Ken Dala program. In total, the Agrarian Credit Corporation allocated 700 billion tenge for these purposes. In November 2024, early financing under the Ken Dala program was opened for the first time. The introduction of this mechanism will allow farmers to carry out timely sowing work this year. The client can better plan their activities, purchase seeds, plant protection products, fertilizers and other resources cheaper, which ultimately has a positive impact on the performance of agricultural producers.
