Today, a grand opening ceremony for the new ALTAI MAI oil extraction plant, built with funding from Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC, took place in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The event was attended by Nurymbet Saktaganov, Akim of the East Kazakhstan Region, Timur Ayapbergenov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC, as well as representatives of relevant agencies and industry organizations. The new plant has a design capacity of up to 500 tons of sunflower seeds per day and is equipped with modern equipment for the deep processing of oilseeds. The plant processes primarily local sunflower and rapeseed, producing a wide range of vegetable oils and related products, including meal and pellets. The main goals of the ALTAI MAI company: providing the domestic market with high-quality vegetable oils; supporting local agricultural producers; increasing the region's export potential; creating new jobs and strengthening the economic development of East Kazakhstan. The opening of the new plant is an important step in the development of the region's agro-industrial complex and contributes to strengthening the country's food security.
