Breeding cows from Ireland were brought to Zhambyl region — the first batch of Angus cattle.

In total, the company purchased 1000 heads of this meat breed under the Sybaga program. The loan was obtained through a branch of JSC "agrarian credit Corporation". 
Zhambyl et LLP specializes in meat production and intends to provide significant volumes of output. Therefore, we decided to pay attention to the breeding of beef cattle. And, according to the Deputy Director of the company Bakhyt eskaliev, in this case, very well suited cattle meat direction of the Angus breed.
"The newly arrived young animals, which are heifers aged 10-15 months, we will first send them to quarantine. After that, they will be in the pasture. In the meantime, we'll take care of the animals. There are all conditions for this, food is prepared, and we will also connect the necessary vitamins and minerals," says Bakhyt Eskaliev.
By September 5, the remaining 600 head of cattle should be delivered to Zhambyl et, which will also be sent to pastures after quarantine.
The farm has 1000 hectares of pastures in the Zhambyl region, where cattle are kept in the summer. As for food for the winter period, it is already stored in sufficient quantities.
"In addition to Angus cattle, we plan to purchase Simmental cattle of the meat and dairy direction in the future. We have conditions for milk production. But this is in plans," — said the Director of LLP "Zhambyl et" Light Shaukenova.
There is no doubt that the best care for the young will be organized. The company currently employs 35 people.
