About three thousand women received financing from the Agricultural Credit Corporation last year. With the help of loans, entrepreneurs successfully run agricultural businesses and also implement non-agricultural projects - bakeries, studios, service stations, hairdressers, educational centers and others. During the conference “Sustainable Rural Development through Support for Women’s Entrepreneurship”, held in the capital, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC Murat Iskakov spoke about how the company works with the business community. Women can obtain loans through the loan products offered, covering both large and small businesses. Thus, under the “Ken Dala” program, loans are issued for spring field and autumn work; under the universal “Agribusiness” program, loans are provided to agricultural businesses and agricultural processing projects; the “Isker” program is aimed at supporting small farms and rural entrepreneurs. Last year, more than 14 thousand agricultural producers, including 2,991 women, received support from the corporation. The highest proportion of women among those financed under the Isker microcredit program is 34%. In general, at the beginning of the year, the share of women entrepreneurs in the structure of clients of the Agrarian Credit Corporation exceeded 30%. We remind you that the Agrarian Credit Corporation continues lending under preferential programs through branches located in regional centers and cities of republican significance, as well as through funding credit partnerships, second-tier banks, microfinance and leasing organizations, and regional investment centers.
