The Shindauletov peasant farm purchased greenhouse equipment with borrowed funds from the Agrarian Credit Corporation. The total cost of the project was more than 270 million tenge. The new greenhouse plans to supply more than 300 tons of cucumbers and 219 tons of tomatoes annually to the markets of Kazakhstan (SKO, Almaty region, Astana city), Russia and the CIS countries. 25 jobs will be created. Equipment for the Gothic greenhouse has already arrived from Germany and Holland and is being prepared for installation. The main markets for vegetable products are the large cities of the republic (Astana and Almaty). The daily need of the capital of Kazakhstan for the main types of fruits and vegetables is more than 320 tons. Approximately 30% of total consumption, according to expert surveys and indicators of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, are vegetables grown in the summer season on their own plots. The remaining 70%, which is about 4,620 tons, are purchased cucumbers. For tomatoes, the potential consumption market is 15,000 tons. Of this, approximately 20% is satisfied by own garden plots. As a result, there should be about 12,000 tons of tomatoes on the wholesale market. It should be noted that in 2016, IP “Shindauletov” purchased 300 heads of breeding stock of horses and 30 heads of breeding stallions under the “Kulan” program in the amount of 90 million tenge. Now the head of the farm, Nurlybay Sherievich Shindauletov, intends to master the greenhouse business. Last year, the Corporation, within the framework of the Agroexport program, approved 6 greenhouse complexes for financing.
