During the visit, he got acquainted with the work of the greenhouse complex of Gen Group Kazakhstan LLP for growing bananas, tomatoes and strawberries. The greenhouse complex is located on a plot of 5 hectares in the Kainarbulak rural district of the Sairam district of the Turkestan region. Dwarf banana varieties are grown here with a production capacity of 1,140 tons per year. Today, the company has applied to the Agricultural Credit Corporation to finance the construction of a new greenhouse complex on 6 hectares of land. Tomatoes will be planted on 5 hectares, strawberries on 1 hectare. In the future, it is planned to harvest more than 3 thousand tons of tomatoes and over 130 tons of strawberries in the greenhouse complex.
