Talgar farm produces shrimp

LLP "Folle Faart Central Asia" launched a unique project in the Almaty region, which has no analogues in the country: the farm is engaged in breeding and selling aquaculture. The director of the enterprise, having worked in business for 15 years, had never been involved in agribusiness before. His first step was the first single project in Kazakhstan. The business idea for the production of shrimp was financed under the Agribusiness program by the Agrarian Credit Corporation.

“The cost of the project is over 240 million tenge, the design capacity is 45 tons of products per year. We plan to reach full capacity in November-December this year. abroad, a product that is popular and in demand on the market," says Anton Ruppo, director of Folle Faart Central Asia LLP.

So far, the unique production provides the city of Almaty with a product. In the future, the launch of the second stage of the project, the purpose of which is to work for export. In the aquaculture production process, water is reused after preliminary treatment using biofilters. The production employs 15 people, and today the farm can be called a forge of personnel. It has become an indispensable platform for training specialists in short supply in the country - ichthyologists.
