In two years - two hundred horses

Maksat Tokmagambetov from Karaganda, who devoted his life to serving in the armed forces, after his retirement returned to the cause of his ancestors - horse breeding. In the spring of 2020, Belarus purchased a Belarus tractor and 100 horses using a preferential loan through the Agrarian Credit Corporation.

“My farm is located in the village of Akbastau, Abai district, Karaganda region. In two years, the herd has doubled, today 210 horses graze on the fields of the TMK KZ farm. In the summer I use my tractor for fodder, and in the winter I feed the horses. Mares especially need care,” said the reserve colonel.

In addition to tractors, other agricultural equipment is also needed to harvest nutritious feed. In the autumn of the same year, under the Agrobusiness lending program from a reliable financial partner - the Agrarian Credit Corporation - the farmer purchased equipment - a plow, a pitchfork, a baler. Now the head of the farm plans to acquire his own harvester.

The Agrarian Credit Corporation is a subsidiary of the Baiterek National Management Holding. Since 2001, it has been providing loans in priority areas of agricultural production. Today it is one of the largest companies in financing the agro-industrial complex.
